Hindu Vidyadayinee Sangha was a rose flower sapling, planted by our ancestors in the year of 1916, on the open yard of Iddya Shree Mahalingeshwara Temple, Suratkhal. It has grown into a beautiful plant with many branches each having a beautiful flower of different colour and fragrance. It was started under a motto " VIDYA PARA DEVATHA " and started to give education to the surrounding of Surathkal. The Sangha was registered under the Societies Registration Act in 1923. Hindu Vidyadayinee Sangha being a pioneer in the spread of education in this part of the district had been under pressure from the public for a long time to provide facilities for pursuing education. |
